Missing Someone? Guess what me too! It’s is the second wave already and really we can’t go back to our lives again! Every single thing on this planet is going to take rebirth again once we make out of this! But what about the past? The memorable, the cherished the lovely moments we had with our friends, family, and loved ones. Isn’t it a complete change of zone impacting your mood suddenly! Well, every day I personally feel this zone shift and I find myself into a completely different space maybe it’s that time of the year now to feel nostalgic! Maybe it’s the rewinding time! I was connected to one of the cities that I can’t be into rn but really there is nothing that we can be separated! So I decided to write this only blog as a tribute to my friend (I will tell you about this in the end ) and the city!
Well, here my favorite Curated places to go to in the city with your favorite friend. This is special so it has to be your favorite person, it can be your friend, lover, brother, sister, parent anyone, but the condition that it has to be only one!
So here are the must-visit places in Pune!
- Dagdusheth
Well, nothing good can be started without remembering Lord Ganesha! And this city has always made it very very very clear about that! Residing in the heart of Pune, there sits Dagdusheth running every single beat of the city! A visit to Dagdusheth is what you can ideally call peace! Every single “sweet hooman” has a sweet and special bond with Dagdusheth, people come and talk to him and he certainly gives them away for life ahead! So if you are planning to loiter in Pune which is a good thing ofc, U know where you should be heading towards too early in the morning!
2. Vohuman Cafe
Hungry in the morning or all-time Hungry? Well, I am the second one XD! And it is so perfect that nothing suits you better than going to Vohuman Cafe, and filling yourself with the best ever double cheese omelet! Well, it’s not breakfast if you go to an Irani Cafe and don’t have a sip of tea with the lovely, one and only delicious “Bun Maska! “

3. Shaniwar Wada!
Coming to Pune without visiting the greatest landmark from the history of the Maratha empire is just inevitable! Shaniwar Wada is one of the most Magnificent places in Pune. Shaniwar Wada was built in 1732 and ever since then it has been the pride of every punkear.
4. Osho Garden
Isn’t it surprising that Culture, War, and Tranquility all together reside in the same city! You will be highly surprised when you shall come across one of the many Tranquility-filled places in Pune and one of them is the Famous Osho Garden. In the search for spirituality and serenity, many people make their way to Osho Garden. It is a great spot for meditation. Away from the hustle and bustle, Osho Garden is a romantic place for couples too. When you shall come here, you don’t find yourself to be a part of this world and you completely dwell into the wilderness of the place and engage in a deep conversation with your favorite person, well for me that’s what Tranquility really means at any moment of the day!
5. German Bakery
Already in Koregaon Park and very very tired from the scorching sun, guess what it’s time for my favorite lunch ❤ in German Bakery. Residing into one of the most elite areas of Pune, you shall find a great ambiance in German Bakery, here you can have your favorite Continental appetizers with your favorite person! Laughing over jokes and finding your way towards a better, dizzy, and lovely bonding, your meal overhear shall be as amazing as your smile after that! BTW a quick reminder no bombs are entertained here, just in case if you happen to Carry one!
6. Starbucks Koregaon Park
Well, Starbucks is Starbucks, but Starbucks in KP is one of its kind. Villa-turned Café shall give you the coziest feeling after a meal full of continental. Finally when you are really feeling sleepy and it’s time for some caffeine but still not so much that you wanna let the way you feel after lunch goes away, it’s time for Hot Chocolate! Yes yes yes it’s time for my favorite Hot Chocolate with my favorite person! Sipping the hot chocolate across the couch of the cozy villa you won’t even know that it’s time to move on to our next destination already!
7. Talzai Hills
It’s already 5:30 pm and you are on Talzai! Situated on the banks of Satara road, there stands the mountain and Jungle of the Talzai amidst the city! Talzai is beautiful, talzai calls for an effort and more if you plan on spotting a peacock! Yes, you heard me right, the Relation between Talazi, peacock, and the efforts to watch it is what we can call it maybe a love triangle!
Talzai and evening is the best combination ever, after hot chocolate a cup of tea is a must on Talzai hills, looking at the city from the top and getting mesmerized in the dooming still the beautiful sun is what we call it as a perfect evening. Anything but the idea of Talzai with your favorite person is heaven on earth, talking your heart out and feeling the aura around you, time passes as If sand, and guess what it’s dark already!
8. Bapdeo Ghat
It’s a dark evening but still, the merry city maintains its spirit. My eyes never end on watching the city even In light and in dark, Going to my next spot I go and watch the glittering horizon of the city, the fading trail lights of the cars are endless, and it’s really very distinct to spot the spirit of Pune! Bapdeo Ghat is a natural mountain on the outskirts of Pune may be only meant for its existence as the “ Spirit viewing spot “ for the city!
9. Paasha and Miami
Gear up machhas because it’s party time! How to end a perfect day, not just by a dinner at an ordinary place but JW Marriott on the SB road. Partying hard in Miami and then putting the best closure for your lovely day in Pashaa with your favorite person, is all you want at the end of the day! Enjoying nothing else but the Indian Cuisine with the sip of your favorite cocktail gives nothing but peace to your soup after a long day! Listening to the songs, watching across the high sky and glass across the beautiful curtains of Pashaa all you know is that, your favorite person and you are vibing hard, the silent and beautiful conversations expressed through eyes is beautiful, seeming to be into an endless space it’s night already!
10. Heart
You heard it right, heart! You must be wondering what heart? How? Is this even a place? Yes, it is! Moving across the city, getting across the favorite places, you will come across your heart! Maybe a day closer to your soup, it’s not what the city has or what it is made up of
but the way it brings one Closer to itself! Millions of hearts find themselves beating peacefully even in the chaos is what makes this city beautiful! Once you go to Pune you will keep coming here again and again unless it starts coming to you through your heart!
So this is all for this time. Writing this blog is one of the ways to portray my love for the city which has given me more than everything! Also, this blog is a tribute to my favorite person for completing a year on something really amazing and maybe this is how I felt like celebrating it! Lastly there sits my favorite person on the couch at home waiting for us to go back on a ride to KP, it just that it’s going to be maybe a little sooner than you could ever imagined!
